Andrew Shoemaker

Andrew Shoemaker serves as Assistant Vice Provost of Academic Success within Academic Affairs.  Passionate about supporting student success, Andrew Shoemaker has been working with students in higher education for over 20 years.  His work focuses on leading the University Academic Support Centers who are focused on providing students with equal access to university programs and services and offering academic support services designed to empower students to become independent, life-long learners.  The teams include: Student Access Center, KU Writing Center & KU Learning Center.  Andrew received his doctoral degree from KU in educational leadership and policy studies. An avid cyclist, Andrew can be found most weekends exploring Lawrence on two wheels.
