This week we are celebrating all of the amazing students who work in Undergraduate Studies! We are very proud of each of their accomplishments. Each day we will feature the graduates from each of the units and posting a video both on the webpage and via Twitter.

Do you know an award worthy academic advisor?  2020 KU Advisor of the Year Award! Nominations are due at the end of this week on May 15, 2020. The purpose of this award is to recognize a KU academic advisor who has demonstrated the qualities representative of outstanding undergraduate student advising. If you have questions please email the KU Advsing Network.

For more information regarding orientation, please join the Office of First-Year Experience in a virtual Orientation Preview Day! All staff and faculty who are involved with orientation (through the Opportunities Fair, advising, presentations, etc.) should plan to attend one of these previews. Both sessions will cover the same content. However, Preview session #1 will have an emphasis on advising and enrollment. All advising colleagues are highly encouraged to attend the first Orientation Preview Day session. In preparation for both Orientation Preview Days, we are asking that all attendees register for the session that they plan to attend using the registration links below. If you have any questions email the FYE team

Academic Achievement & Access Center (AAAC)
Supplemental Instruction (SI)
A list of classes that will provide Supplemental Instruction (SI) in Fall 2020 is
available online.

Tutoring Services
Tutoring Services will be offering online tutoring this summer for 8-week courses. Tutors will meet one-on-one with students for two hours per week via Zoom. The fee for summer tutoring is $175. Please direct students to the 
tutoring webpage for a list of courses and instructions on how to request a tutor.

Semester Planners
The Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 Semester Planners are available. Staff and students are encouraged to use them! Go to Academic Success Guides on the
AAAC website.

KU Writing Center
The KU Writing Center will offer eTutoring appointments during Finals Week (Monday 5/11 – Friday 5/15). Students can sign up for an appointment onlineAfter May 15, the KUWC will not offer any appointments until summer courses begin on Tuesday, June 2.
