KU Advisor of the Year Award
The KU Advising Network (KUAN), with support from Academic Success, established the Advisor of the Year Award in 2017. The award was designed to recognize a KU academic advisor who has demonstrated the qualities representative of outstanding undergraduate student advising.
The KUAN supports the academic advising community by providing professional development, social and networking opportunities. The network consists of various standing and ad hoc committees, which are supported by committee chairs and Academic Success. Members volunteer their time to the committee of their choice and KUAN representatives serve on various campus and departmental committees. Advisors’ input helps administrators as they consider ways to improve student success.
The 2021 Advisor of the Year Award Ceremony will premiere at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 11th. Click “2021 Award Ceremony” below to watch the virtual ceremony. The video will remain on the site for viewing after it premiers on May 11th.
